These designs are created through a process of: 1) hand-drawing and cutting stencils; 2) arranging these into patterns; 3) hand color these patterns; and 4) scan and alter the colored designs digitally to obtain the look I want and often alternative color ways. These designs are left “tiled” in appearance rom the physical process of creating the repeating pattern.
